Effective date: 7 October 2026

About these terms

This website is run by AMAAN Psychotherapy (“we”, “us”), based in Ontario, Canada. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These terms cover your use of the website only. They are not an agreement to provide therapy.

Information only

The content on this website is general information about our practice and about therapy. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care, and it should not be relied on as such.

No therapist-client relationship

Reading this website, sending a message through the contact form, or requesting a consultation does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapeutic relationship begins only once we have agreed to work together through our intake process.

Please keep any message you send brief and avoid sharing detailed health or personal information through the form.

Not for emergencies

This website and its contact form are not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For crisis support in Canada, call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline), any time.

Using the website

You agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

  • use the website in a way that harms, disrupts, or overloads it or its connected services;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems;
  • submit false, misleading, or automated messages through the contact form.

Our content

The text, design, logo, and other material on this website belong to AMAAN Psychotherapy or are used with permission. You are welcome to view the website and to share links to it. Please do not copy, reproduce, or reuse our content without our written permission.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be error-free, complete, or uninterrupted. We may change or remove content, or the website itself, at any time.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, AMAAN Psychotherapy is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information collected through the website is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about them will be dealt with by the courts of Ontario.
