Ways we can work together

Whether you come on your own, as a couple, or as a family, you will find a calm, judgment-free space shaped around your culture, your values, and your faith, if you wish to bring it in.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one support for youth (ages 10 to 25), adults, and seniors, in a space where you can come as you are.

Individual therapy is a place to slow down and make sense of what you are carrying, without having to have all the answers. Together we look at your experiences, your relationships, and the patterns that may be shaping the way you move through life.

Sessions draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, and mindfulness, shaped around you rather than around a formula.

For young people between 10 and 25, the work is paced to where they are, and focused on feeling heard rather than judged. For clients who wish to, faith can be held alongside the work, with care and respect.

Some of what we might work on

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression
  • Perfectionism, self-esteem, and self-improvement
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transitions, including moving between places and cultures

Couples Therapy

A steady, honest space for partners to reconnect, communicate, and work through conflict together.

Every relationship carries its own history, expectations, and ways of showing care. Couples therapy gives both of you room to be heard, to understand what is happening between you, and to find steadier ways of coming back to each other.

The work is relationship-focused and informed by the Gottman approach, with attention to the culture, family, and faith that shape how you each see the relationship.

Often a good fit if

  • Conversations keep turning into the same argument
  • It has become hard to talk about what matters
  • You want to reconnect after distance or hurt
  • Family, cultural, or faith expectations are creating tension between you

Premarital Counselling

Thoughtful preparation for the life you are building together, before the wedding.

Premarital counselling is a chance to talk openly about what each of you hopes for, and to build the habits of communication that a marriage leans on. It is not about finding problems; it is about knowing each other more deeply and starting well.

Sessions use the Prepare/Enrich approach alongside Gottman-informed work, and make room for the values, faith, and families that each of you brings.

What we might explore together

  • Expectations of marriage and of each other
  • Values, faith, and culture
  • Communication and handling disagreement
  • The families you are joining, and what they expect

Family Therapy

A supportive space for families to understand one another, ease tension, and strengthen the bonds that matter most.

Families are where many of us first learn how to love, speak, and cope, and where misunderstanding can run deepest. Family sessions give everyone a chance to be heard and to understand what is behind the tension.

This work often includes young people between 10 and 25 and the parents who want to support them, with respect for the generations, cultures, and faith the family holds together.

Often a good fit if

  • Parenting feels heavy, or you and your child are struggling to understand each other
  • Young people and parents are feeling pulled between different expectations
  • There is tension across generations, culture, or faith
  • The family is moving through a change together
